Henchman & Goon is an independent game studio based in Bergen, Norway. We strive to make engaging games with strong personalities.
Henchman & Goon was founded in August 2012 by a mix of former students and a few freelancers, united by the dream of creating and selling games. We started doing mostly contract work in the form of illustrations, animations, apps and more. Eventually, the company went through several changes, emerging in early 2015 as a smaller team with a renewed focus on making our own games.
In the spring of 2015, we released our first game called Flem for (the now defunct) PlayStation Mobile and later for Steam. Starting out as a charity game jam title in late 2012, the unforgiving retro-platformer Flem became an office hit and we decided to develop it into our first fully-fledged game.
Our current project is called Pode, a co-op puzzle adventure for one to two players about friendship. You play as Bulder the rock and Stella the star on a wonderful journey through an ancient, lush underground world filled with riddles and mysteries.
- "Flem is supposedly infused with a nostalgic spirit. I’m sure they meant a NOSE-stalgic spirit."
